Why Are We Born & What Are We Living For | 3 July 2026

"Most people believe that we are born to study, work, and build a family. Yet these pursuits still keep us revolving within the cycle of saṃsāra. For those with wisdom, however, life carries a deeper meaning: to live in a spirit of sacrifice and to contribute to the welfare of others. In truth, human life is short, like a drop of dew. No wealth or possessions can be taken with us when we draw our last breath. Therefore, we are not born to accumulate, but to reduce and abandon defilements, ego, and the urge to compete and prevail over others. Living with mindfulness, loving-kindness, and moral virtue is the path that leads the heart towards peace, inner coolness, and genuine liberation from suffering." ____ 🌏 Now Available in Multiple Languages [French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish] You can now listen to this Dhamma talk in other languages using YouTube’s Audio Track feature.
