The Bangles, Susanna Hoffs, Michael Steele and sisters Debbi and Vicki Peterson, were a fixture on the local Los Angeles music scene in the early ‘80s, scoring their first top 10 song, “Manic Monday,” in 1986. They went on to release a string of hits, including “Walk Like an Egyptian,” “If She Knew What She Wants,” a remake of “Hazy Shade of Winter” and “Eternal Flame,” their last number one song before separating in 1989. Taped on location at the House of Blues in Los Angeles, the concert is part of the group’s reunion tour. The Bangles are currently working on a new album, tentatively scheduled to be released next summer.
