You search for the perfect combination of sounds, the perfect technical execution, the perfect stage partners, the perfect repertoire that will satisfy both your artistic calling and completely captivate the audience. You search for the perfect visual image — the perfect stage look, poster, video recording. All of these become your treasures. And then, in a single moment, you realize that your treasure was never about perfection. Your treasure is about being fully present in the moment. For some reason, this piece stayed outside my attention for a long time. I performed it only once and never shared the recording with you. So now I’m finally correcting that. That concert was perfect in every possible way precisely because of that moment. Grateful to fate for the opportunity to create music alongside some of the outstanding musicians of our time.
