Projeto Reflorestar Yawanawá - Oficial

A Aliança Reflorestar da Amazônia realizou sua primeira ação na aldeia Nova Esperança, do povo Yawanawa, no Acre. Durante 6 meses, foram realizadas 2 viagens à aldeia, onde foram plantadas 5.722 mudas de árvores frutíferas, pioneiras e de madeiras de lei; foram construídos um banco de sementes e um viveiro; e houve capacitação em agrofloresta e em arborismo (técnica para coleta de sementes no topo das árvores). A capacitação em agrofloresta se deu em parceria com o Centro Yorenka Tasorentsi, do Benki Piyãko Ashaninka, e foi conduzida pelos instrutores Leonilson Silva, Antonio José Silva e José Maria Nogueira. A troca de saberes foi prática e se deu de forma orgânica e horizontal, ajudando a fortalecer a rede de lideranças locais. Outro parceiro importante nesta ação foi o povo Puyanawa, sob liderança do professor e agrofloresteiro José Puwe. Fornecedores das mudas que reflorestaram as terras do rio Gregório, os Puyanawa se fizeram presentes com uma comitiva que teve papel imprescindível no mutirão de plantio realizado, enriquecendo o intercâmbio entre os povos. Em contato com a aldeia Nova Esperança, constatamos que a comunidade já está fazendo uso das técnicas aprendidas e dos equipamentos recebidos. Nesse momento, é crucial darmos continuidade ao projeto para monitoramento e manutenção das áreas reflorestadas até que as mudas virem árvores. [ ENGLISH VERSION ] The Amazon Reforest Alliance carried out its first action in the Nova Esperança village, of the Yawanawa people, in Acre. During six months, two journeys to the village were made, where 5,722 seedlings of fruit, pioneer, and hardwood trees were planted; a seed bank and a plant nursery were built; there was training in agroforestry and in arborism (a technique for collecting seeds at the top of trees). The agroforestry training happened in partnership with the Yorenka Tasorentsi Center, of Benki Piyãko Ashaninka, and was led by instructors Leonilson Silva, Antonio José Silva, and José Maria Nogueira. The exchange of knowledge was practical and took place organically and horizontally, helping to strengthen the network of local leaders. Another important partner in this action was the Puyanawa people, led by agroforestry technician José Puwe. They were the suppliers of the seedlings that reforested the lands of the Gregório River and were present with a delegation that played an essential role in the planting effort carried out, enriching the exchange between peoples. In communications with the Nova Esperança village, we found that the community already uses the techniques learned and the equipment received. At this point, it is crucial to continue the project to monitor and maintain the reforested areas until the seedlings turn into trees.
