Law of the Junction

If you've felt like the content here has been helpful, please consider donating to UCI with a mention of this channel: https://give.uci.edu/ The Law of the Junction (just a fancy name for calculating boundary conditions for charge carriers of p/n junctions). This is so important and central in dealing with BJTs and structures involving p-n junctions and charge carriers that I thought it deserved it's own video. This is part of my series on semiconductor physics (often called Electronics 1 at university). This is based on the book Semiconductor Physics and Devices by Donald Neamen, as well as the EECS 170A/174 courses taught at UC Irvine. Hope you found this video helpful, please post in the comments below anything I can do to improve future videos, or suggestions you have for future videos.
