Our goal is to catch leerfish, but we cast our lines for every species. Leerfish are common in cool waters like the Atlantic Ocean, the North Sea, and the Mediterranean. They are known for their fishing value, nutritional properties, and delicious meat. The leerfish has a long, flat body. Its upper surface is blue-green, with a silvery-white sheen on the sides and underside. One of this fish's characteristic features is the dark, band-like patterns on its back and sides. It can also be identified by the spines on its dorsal fin. After hours of struggle, we finally found our leerfish. We enjoyed the fish, which weighed an estimated 13-15 kilograms, for dinner!
