Baby located after almost 70 years! Father's Final Request

Today, the History Seekers team traveled to Reeves Chapel Methodist Church in Asheville, North Carolina, to help one of our followers, Margaret Duncan, find the unmarked grave of her baby brother, Glen Ray Carter. Glen was born in 1957 and lived for only three hours. His mother was in a coma, and his father did his best to care for the family with very limited means. Without money for a burial and marker, he and a friend hand-dug the small grave and placed a simple stone at the site. Over the years, the stone was accidentally discarded, and the exact location of Glen’s resting place was lost. Just a week before he passed away, Margaret’s father asked her to find his son’s grave and make sure it was marked. After seeing our video about searching for Jesse Presley’s grave (Elvis Presley’s brother), Margaret reached out to us for help. Using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), we carefully searched the area and believe we’ve located Glen’s lost resting place. Margaret plans to mark it with the inscription: “Promises made, Promises kept.” We can’t always take every request, but whenever possible, we do our best to help families find closure, answers, and peace through history and technology. 📍 Location: Reeves Chapel Methodist Church, Asheville NC 🕊️ Name: Glen Ray Carter (1957) 💬 Watch to see how technology and heart come together to fulfill a promise. ================ 🔔 Enjoyed the Hunt?
