Gobierno decreta estado de prevención por 15 días en seis departamentos de Guatemala

The Ministry of the Interior announced the implementation of a 15-day state of prevention, approved by Government Agreement 4-2026 in the Council of Ministers. The measure will be applied in the departments of Guatemala, Escuintla, Petén, Izabal, San Marcos, and Huehuetenango, as part of the Government's actions to strengthen security and control in different regions of the country.
