Recognised as one of India’s Top 30 chefs by the FoodSuperstars, Chef Bala found international recognition for her appearance alongside Gordon Ramsay in the Kerala episode of Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted (2020). She introduced Ramsay to various traditional dishes, including kanthari (bird’s eye chili) fish curry and pork curry blended with bitter lime.
