Marymass Parade 2014
This is the annual Marymass Parade that took place on 23rd August 2014 in Irvine, Ayrshire, Scotland. Prior to the crowning of the Marymass Queen she is escorted through the streets of Irvine with her four Marys-in-waiting as part of a large parade. After her crowning they parade to Irvine Moor for horse racing and further festivities. This is one of the key highlights of Irvine's ancient Marymass festival. The floats in this parade are still all drawn by cart horses.
