El Parque Olivar (Olive Tree park) is a beautiful gem in San Isidro. Away from all the bustle in Lima and located in a very affluential area of the district, this park is fairly unknown to most tourists as it sits within a very residential area. This park is great for those who like to walk or bike and is one of the more beautiful parks in Lima. 400 year old Olive trees cover almost all of the park , an excellent way to take a break from the hustle and bustle. Olives are constantly harvested for local consumption, so if you get the chance to visit Parque El Olivar, definitely try to find some! They also have a museum and a library open for anyone.
