AmaFaku Royal Family have commemorated the late prominent Kings, Faku KaNgqungqushe and his successor Mqikela. Both of these Kings passed on towards the end of October in their respective years. The celebration comes as the Mpondo kingdom faces challenges over who is the legitimate heir to succeed to the throne after King Zanozuko Sigcau's death. The division has left local people concerned about the development of the AmaMpondo nation.
