F Major Scales in 3rds PIANO How to Play (separated by a 3rd not 3rds in a single hand)

F Major Scale in 3rds (hands separated by 3rds not 3rds in each hand) This short video will help you learn to play a 2 octave F Major scale hands together in 3rds. In this scale the LH is the "leader," and the RH is the "harmony," a 3rd above the LH. Notes: F G A Bb C D E F Fingering: note below that RH is starting on Mi (A) the third note of the scale. RH: up 34 123 1234 123 123 down 321 321 4321 321 43 LH: up 54321 321 4321 321 down 123 1234 123 12345 This can feel confusing at first because the hands are playing different fingers together than in a regular hands together scale one octave apart. Plus, with the black keys, sometimes the hands feel very crowded.
