Today, we'll start learning how to draw a map, buttons, and set and edit waypoints on screens in Stormworks. The goal is to create a route the boat will navigate automatically. This can then be saved and used for automation. Perhaps we'll even run tankers on autopilot. We'll also get to grips with tables in LUA. It's a powerful and convenient tool that somewhat alleviates the lack of classes and objects as such. I was given a good example of a PID controller implemented using tables (thanks, oqqA). I'll explore it on stream, and then I need to implement and deepen this approach for all recurring constructs in my controllers.
