Super Cheap Classic-looking shop truck with modern comfort for Dad. $1000 budget - what'd it cost?

Vintage 51 Ford Truck with a 2001 Ford Ranger chassis and drive train, It's a great fit and the most comfortable old truck that's not expensive! I scored this truck with the plan to fix it up and make it a shop truck for my Father in law Al, he loves trucks and would enjoy having a cool work truck with his company logo painted on the door. Being an already started and running project that wasn't completed, it was unknown on how much work was needed. The previous owner put it together to just put around his place and didn't plan to take it fit for the street. It deserved to be pushed over the finish line (sometimes you just want to push em off a cliff). I was the guy to do it and in this video I pickup the truck with a bonus 302 engine full of water and 4 speed top loader transmission sitting on the original chassis, parts that will be on the free list for a project down the road. This job required two trailers to haul everything. In this video I show you what I purchased to make this a usable, reliable and comfortable truck for Dad, full breakdown toward the end when we finally have it on the road! #f1 #rustomod #crustomod #frameswap #bodyswap #vintageford #fordtrucks
