Trimet Line 72 Ride on a Hybrid Bus + Buses at Clackamas Town Center TC

Finally! After years I finally got to ride the Gillig hybrids on line 72- Killingsworth/82nd Ave. This video features #3059 which is one of four later series hybrids. These can temporarily shut off the diesel motor while picking up passengers, and can even run fully electrically for a few miles if certain conditions require that. It might be hard to tell on video, but these are much quieter than the diesel buses that make up nearly all of the fleet.
