Building a Nerdy Gurdy Fortran

Last year I built a lyre, this year a hurdy gurdy. The hurdy gurdy is a medieval string instrument where you spin a wheel which plays the strings. Since this is a very complex instrument, I did not build it from scratch but instead went with the Nerdy Gurdy Fortran, a plywood kit. Here is the link to where I bought it: https://www.nerdygurdy.nl/product/ng-... I used Joha oil varnishes and dyes: https://www.joha.eu/Lacke/OEllacke/OE... Of course I was not satisfied with just assembling the plywood kit, so I carved a lot of the smaller 3D-printed parts out of birch wood instead. The main bridge I left original for now, as it has to be extremely precise, but I will soon replace that with a wooden one as well.
