Polda Lampung Ringkus Enam Debt Collector Perampas Pajero

BANDARLAMPUNG (June 30, 2026) – The Lampung Regional Police's General Criminal Investigation Directorate arrested six debt collectors for the robbery and threats against a Mitsubishi Pajero Sport driver on Jalan Wolter Monginsidi, Tanjungkarang Pusat, Bandarlampung, on Friday evening, June 26, 2026. One of the perpetrators is a retired police officer. The perpetrators forced the victim, CR, 47, a resident of Bandung, West Java, to hand over the vehicle, claiming it was being towed. The victim refused, prompting the debt collectors to threaten and force him to hand over the vehicle to a finance company office. The Director of the Lampung Regional Police's General Criminal Investigation Directorate, Senior Commissioner Indra Hermawan, stated that the case began with a report from the victim, identified as CR. Police arrived at the location at around 9:30 PM WIB and successfully apprehended the six perpetrators and the vehicle at the finance company office. Investigations revealed that one of the perpetrators was a retired police officer who was in cahoots with five other debt collectors.
