I love Hamilton. Really really love it. It is a wonderful unique and original show in a sea of jukebox and film adaptations. I believe it one of the classics and a solid peg in the great timeline of musical theatre history. My sister played me (and sang along to) Satisfied before I had seen any of Hamilton and it hooked me immediately. Such a demanding role to have the power belt and also fast rap skills. Is it my favourite of all the songs in the show, no, but it is absolutely great fun to sing! In this video we will look at three things for singing this song; firstly looking at how we can get strong rhythm and stamina in us which is much needed, then we dive into that rap section before I highlight some vowel shapes and placement for some of the big belty words and it should all make singing this song a little easier for you.
