A press conference was held on Saturday in the office of the Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Sadar Chaibasa, Bahaman Tuti, where media representatives were informed about the incident. According to the SDPO, on May 6, a victim filed a written complaint at the Jhinkapni police station, alleging that in April, three young men from the village found her alone in her home in Matakamahatu Tola, Kudapi village, and forcibly gang-raped her. Following the complaint, a case was registered at the Jhinkapni police station and an investigation was initiated. On the instructions of the Superintendent of Police, a special raiding team was formed under the leadership of Station House Officer Rajkumar Jeyraju and SDPO Bahaman Tuti. The victim underwent a medical examination, and with the assistance of the technical branch, the three accused were arrested. The arrested accused include Dugud Budiuli alias Konda, Sidiu Mundri alias Konka, and Mandru alias Jambira Gop. All three are residents of Kudapi Matakamahatu, Jhinkapni police station, West Singhbhum. Police have also recovered the clothes they were wearing at the time of the incident. All the accused have been reported to have no criminal history.
