XTC - Greenman (unofficial music video)

My 'fan-made' video for 'Greenman". XTC's 'Greenman' was a standout track on their 1999 album 'Apple Venus Vol. 1'. The band at this time was the completely studio based duo of Andy Partridge and Colin Moulding, who set about creating lush, layered soundscapes, never intended for live performance. The result was one of the band's greatest works in their long and expansive career. It ultimately proved to be the first of two final shots from their pop pistol. The video I made loosely combines references to the four elements, Earth worship and our history of anthropomorphising nature's wonders and calling them gods. I tried to stick closely to the band's intentions for the song's meaning. Please enjoy!
