Garmin Pre-loaded Map Breakdown - inReach GPSMAP eTrex Handhelds

Rundown on the various Garmin map products that are pre loaded onto the device. We will look at preloaded maps from the inreach explorer+, gpsmap 66st and eTrex 22X. Surprisingly all three Garmin devices all have different mapping products. Based on your needs, you may want to look at the micro SD options, and if they use openstreetmap data. Depending on your region, you may prefer a mapping product over another. As an option, you can purchase a SD card map product, like the one I got from Backroadmaps who is a garmin map producer. Depending on your region, purchased maps from 3rd party map products may have additional detail you prefer over openstreetmap or even Garmin maps.
