Santa Victoria Este è una località di tripla frontiera, al nord dell'Argentina in provincia di Salta al confine Bolivia e Paraguay. Il Pilcomayo è il grande fiume che attraversa questa località e che spesso inonda causando enormi difficoltò alla popolazione. Qui vivono centinaia di comunità originarie. Giovanni Bongiovanni presidente di FUNIMA International è in missione insieme a 13 volontari italiani e la Fondazione locale Los Niños De San Juan per distribuire beni di prima necessita e realizzare uno studio di fattibilità per interventi che riguardano l'acqua, salute, educazione.
