Parks and Recreation in Bridgeport, Michigan

Bridgeport, Michigan offers a lot of great parks and recreation. Located several miles southeast of Saginaw along I-75, Bridgeport is more than just a truck stop on the way to and from Northern Michigan. Bridgeport offers many beautiful parks as well as a lot of amazing history. I check out the following parks: 1. Cass River Trailhead Park - This park contains the historic State Street Bridge as well as a picnic shelter, a lookout of the bridge with the Cass River, and a restoration of the Bridgeport Oil & Gas building. 2. Lyle Community Park - This park has a paved half mile trail with a lot of green space along the Cass River. 3. Davis Community Park - This park has two playgrounds, picnic pavilions, and a kayak launch on the Cass River. 4. Hoffman Community Park - This park offers another kayak launch on the Cass River. This makes a great spot to put your kayak or canoe into the river and row over to Davis Community Park. 5. Liberty Park - This park offers many baseball fields, a playground, and also the Frank Anderson Recreation Complex. 6. Bridgeport Historical Village - This park contains many historical buildings brought into this area from around Bridgeport and nearby areas which have been restored to how they looked a long time ago. For lunch I get to stop at Country Pride Restaurant located at the TA Travel Center to enjoy a nice meal while feeling like a trucker who is making a pit stop in the city. Very special thanks to the Bridgeport Parks and Recreation Department for inviting me up to visit Bridgeport! #Bridgeport #BridgeportMichigan SOCIAL MEDIA: Facebook:   / scottman895   Instagram:   / scottman895   Twitter:   / scottman895   Website: https://scottman895travel.com MUSIC from EPIDEMIC SOUND: https://www.epidemicsound.com/
