La vida de un artista "KAREN"

This time, "the people have spoken," and since many of you were waiting, this episode couldn't have had any other name: KAREN. We've been following Karen for a long time, hoping to introduce you to her work and career. This video is a well-deserved recognition for all her years of perseverance and unconditional dedication to graffiti. Talking about Karen means talking about a part of the history of graffiti in Spain, and especially in Madrid. The city where she has been painting tirelessly since the early 1990s, and continues to this day. Since her beginnings in Vallecas (Portazgo), Karen has always represented her neighborhood. And in one way or another, it has always remained present in her character and her career as a writer. Who hasn't eaten a piece of it on a road in Madrid or its surroundings? Or who hasn't seen a wall, a street sign, or a central reservation with her name on it? From classic pieces filled with the colors of the Spanish flag, to phrases like "working class," to whitewashing in the most inhospitable places on the Iberian Peninsula, where you wonder, "What the hell is this man doing here?", Karen has earned a place in the subconscious of all graffiti writers. With this special and eagerly awaited video, we want to bid farewell to 2017 with the same energy as always. We would like to give a huge thank you to all the people who made this video possible, and of course to its protagonist.
