There appears to be a drought in this world at the moment. Yes, there are literal droughts of not enough water, but there are also droughts of peace. Peace is in short supply in the world. But this does not have to be the case for those who believe in the power of God to protect, sanctify and save them. These people are promised peace. "Now the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always by all means..." 2 Thessalonians 3:16. Choose this wonderful peace. If you are a weary soul, with no comfort, no gladness or rest, passing down the rough pathway of time. Make the Saviour your friend ere the shadows grow dark, o accept of this peace so sublime!
