Bolt Action additions 2 - replacing metal crews
Hello everyone and welcome back to the channel! This video is sort of a follow up to my last that was all about really simple additions that you can make to you Bolt Action figures to make them a bit more unique and individual. In that video I mentioned briefly that you can also use these techniques to make new crew for team weapons. Well this month I have been working on my Polish Airborne project and, having picked up the British Airborne starter box, I set about replacing the metal figures that made up the crews for the medium mortar, medium machine gun and flamethrower teams. When I was working on these, I thought it would be a good idea to make a video to show you exactly how I went about making these. Now these kitbashes and conversions are not overly complex but hopefully demonstrate that with a little bit of experimenting with different kits, it is possible to make really unique looking crews for your support weapons. I do this because I really prefer my armies to be made of plastic wherever possible but also because the scale between the metal and plastic figures is slightly different and I think kitbashing/converting new crews goes a long way to improving the look of these teams and weapons.
