Wen 16 inch scroll saw unboxing by a rookie

This scroll saw "rookie" that has never used a scroll saw unboxes the Wen 16 inch variable speed scroll saw. I attempt to set it up without looking at the instruction manual but ultimately give in and read through it just to make sure I am not using it improperly in a manner to injure myself or someone. The Wen 16 inch scroll saw comes out of the box pretty much ready for use after tightening down a few parts and was very straightforward and simple. It took basically no effort to figure out the Wen 16 inch scroll saw and while I do not have anything to compare it to I really liked this scroll saw and can not wait to use it for many woodworking projects in the future. The second part of the video this rookie scroll saw user decides to try making a piece for the very first time. I have watched other youtubers use scroll saws and make very impressive things, but what would a very first attempt look like? I used painter's tape and sprayed on a stencil that I then cut with the Wen 16 inch variable speed scroll saw. This diy project was more difficult than I had imagined, but a lot of fun.
