Syahi devi temple Almora | Sitlakhet

The sacred Syahi devi temple is located at a hill top where you can reach doing a trek of about 2 kms from Shitlakhet. You can directly take a trek route from Almora which is of about 5 to 6 kms. Sitlakhet is a lesser-known tourist destination located about 24 km from the Queen’s Meadow 'Ranikhet' and about 36 km from Almora. Proudly sitting at an elevation of 1900 meters on the kaleidoscopic Syahi Devi hills, Sitlakhet is one of the best places to explore in the Kumaon Himalayas. From this off-beat destination, one can savour a panoramic view of Chaukhamba peaks.
