Crossed glances on immigration between South and North of the Mediterranean, between Tunisia and Italy, through the stories of two men and their families, who emigrated in the past from Italy to the port of La Goulette, the so-called “Petite Sicile”, in Tunis, and from Tunisia to Mazara del Vallo, in Sicily. The documentary highlights the crossings between two societies, the difficulties experienced by two communities, the mutual influence between two cultures, and the role of the sea in these exchanges and human relations.
