.The first batch of the Shri Amarnath Yatra received a grand and reverent welcome in Samba district. At Rai Morh, the gateway to Samba, the pilgrims were welcomed by being garlanded and draped with chunris (sacred scarves). The entire area resonated with chants of "Bam-Bam Bhole," and the atmosphere became deeply devotional.Senior officials from the district and police administrations were also present to welcome the pilgrims. The Deputy Commissioner and the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Samba personally arrived at Rai Morh to welcome the travelers and extend their best wishes.Elaborate security arrangements have been put in place across Jammu and Kashmir for the pilgrimage. Comprehensive security measures have been ensured along the route, alongside the deployment of security forces, to facilitate a safe and smooth journey for the pilgrims.
