Kevin Blew Up My John Deere 60 Skid Steer

The little John Deere 60 skid steer is back for part two. Kevin bought this thing at auction for $2,600 with my money, and now it's turning into a full restoration. This time we head to Tucker's fab shop in Helmsburg to cut a custom American flag door for the rear screen, rebuild the boom cylinder with the correct packing kit, and put the old girl to work. Then Kevin backfills a hole the size of Indiana and the 50-year-old 14 HP Kohler lets out all her beans. Knocking, blowby, the works. So the motor comes out and a new 18 HP engine is on the way. Stay tuned for part three. Come see us at the Perry County Fair, July 11th at 1:30 PM, Perry County Fairgrounds in southern Indiana near Tell City. Free entry.
