The Appalachian side of New Jersey || Sussex County, NJ - Vernon Township

When people think of 'Appalachia' they tend to think of the southern regions of the lengthy, majestic mountain chain. They think of West Virginia, eastern Kentucky, Tennessee, etc... But the reality is that the Appalachians start (or end, depending on direction) in central Alabama and finish at the Gaspé Peninsula in Quebec, with the best-known American section running from Georgia to Maine. In this video we take a trip up north to the state of New Jersey and visit Sussex County, where the Appalachians run right through. You'll get to see small town life in the Vernon Township area and out through rural Sussex. We also take you out to High Point State Park (the highest point in New Jersey) for a spectacular view! #newjersey #appalachiantrail #travel If you enjoyed this video please don't forget to LIKE, COMMENT and SUBSCRIBE!
