I worked it out by ear and produced it in Cubase Pro 12 using a digital piano and a variety of VST instruments, including: • Bass - Steinberg Retrologue 2 • Kick, Snare & Hi-Hats - Native Instruments Battery 4 (Linndrum Kit) • Claps - ‪@DomSigalas‬ Modern 80's Drum Kit • Synths - Halion Sonic SE, ReFX Nexus, FM8 • PIano - Roland FP60 Dolce Vita is a pretty song from 1983 in the Italo Disco style and represents everything I enjoy about early 80s music with a strong melody, elegant harmony, and loads of accents and flourishes.
