2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE 300 4MATIC - Exterior and Interior
More Info: YOU GARAGE / yougarage_ https://yougarage.sahibinden.com/ 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE-Class Price: $59.150–$76.950 Overview Mercedes has simplified its coupe and convertible lineups to just one non-AMG option: the CLE-class. Replacing the old C- and E-class two-doors, the CLE offers similar levels of luxury and refinement as well as a choice of two turbocharged powertrains—a 255-hp inline-four or a 375-hp inline-six. Both provide smooth power and decent acceleration with help from standard all-wheel drive, while the interior coddles and is packed with tech. The CLE's steering-wheel controls are fussy and annoying, but there are multiple ways to operate the infotainment system. Ride comfort is good although not quite up to the standard set by the air-spring-equipped E-class. Two-door competition is dwindling, limited to the BMW 4-Series and aging Lexus RC now that Audi has left the category. Those wanting a sportier option from Mercedes should consider the AMG CLE53, which we review separately. Engine, Transmission, and Performance The CLE-class offers two powertrains. The CLE300 carries a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four, which is good for 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, while the CLE450 bumps that up to 375 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque by means of a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six. A nine-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive are standard with either engine. Both powertrains have a 48-volt hybrid assist system that incorporates an electric motor that can add up to 23 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque. Both the CLE300 and the CLE450 are limited to a top speed of 130 mph. We got a chance to test drive both the CLE300 and CLE450 and came away happy with their performance. They drive much like the E-class sedan, although the ride isn't quite as plush because the CLE doesn't offer the sedan's air springs. Interior, Comfort, and Cargo The CLE-class's interior should look familiar, as its general layout is shared with the C-class and GLC-class. However, the front seats are new and specific to the CLE-class, and they glide forward for rear-seat access by way of a leather strap that activates the sliding mechanism; seat heating is standard, while ventilation and massage are optional. Sixty-four-color ambient lighting is standard, as is a 17-speaker Burmester sound system. Base models come with vinyl upholstery, but in the Mercedes tradition, you can pay more money for leather or upgrade to even fancier nappa leather. The CLE-class offers more front legroom than both the C-class and E-class coupes it replaces, while it falls between the two in rear legroom. Its 14.8-cubic-foot trunk offers 2.1 cubic feet more than the outgoing C-class coupe's, but it's two-tenths of a cubic foot behind the old E-class coupe's.
