Prop E-11 blaster weathering
This video covers the process for weathering a resin plastic E-11 blaster prop, but the same techniques could be used for other prop weapons, etc. *PLEASE NOTE: Some countries do not allow replicas or deactivated firearms. Please obey your local laws! The original E-11 props in Star Wars were based on the British Sterling submachine gun. As these are not legally available locally, I have decided to make this blaster look more like a "sci fi weapon" rather than replicate a Sterling. But you can substitute paint colors or detail techniques if you wish, to make yours more accurate. It's up to you. I am using traditional dry brushing techniques using Liquitex acrylic paints and Faskolor paints. Music by: Bensound.com
