How To Work The Peasant Heel

This tutorial will show you step by step how to work a peasant heel. A peasant heel is a sock heel that is worked after knitting the sock tube, but instead of being a true afterthought heel, where you just knit the sock tube continuously, the peasant heel lets you place a scrap yarn as a marker for the heel. I am actually new to the peasant heel myself (at the time of writing this) and have only worked it once before making the video for the sock pattern it is included in (my DIspersion Socks, pattern out soon). So if I find a better method that does not include holes at the side of the heel, I will record a video and upload that as soon as I can.
