Triumph Bonneville Fork Seals And Oil
With a leaking fork oil seal it was time to do some maintenance on my 2010 Triumph Bonneville. In this video I cover the entire removal and disassembly of the forks, and mention some potential "gotchas" to watch. I'll replace the oil seals, measure and add new oil and put it all back together. The VIN number of my bike pointed to an OEM oil seal T2044161, but other Bonneville's may use T2047115. I'm not even certain there's a difference and I know there are third part seals that could work, but I couldn't identify them in advance. The Kayaba 41mm forks MAY be able to use SKF KITB-41K seals, but I couldn't confirm that. Leave a comment if you can add to the knowledge base.
