HEC-RAS Bridge Modeling Tutorial - Create a bridge in HEC-RAS
Using HEC-RAS 5.0.7, this video shows how to model a bridge in HEC-RAS. This includes the modeling of a bridge deck (high and low chord) as well as adding the piers and the abutments. This tutorial shows the addition of ineffective flow areas and the adjustments to the bounding cross sections. This tutorial uses Civil3D for station control and geospatial management. Additionally, it shows how to model a bridge geospatially and leverages existing conditions LiDAR DEM data. Hydraulic floodplain modeling for roadway crossings.
