BUSINESS TODAY | THE STATE OF LABOUR RELATIONS IN NAMIBIA - nbc

As Namibia marked Workers' Day, a time to reflect on the contributions of workers and the state of our labour landscape, the focus was on a critical conversation, the state of labour relations in the country. Across sectors, tensions around wages, rising living costs and working conditions continue to shape the dialogue between employees, employers and government. Calls for salary increases are growing louder, while businesses face their own pressures in an uncertain economic environment. The General Secretary of the Namibia Public Workers Union, NAPWU, Petrus Nevonga; Ben Nangombe, the Executive Director in the Ministry of Justice and Labour Relations representing the government; and representative Libonina Nawa, a board member of the Namibia Employers Federation, shared more on NBC's Business Today.
