Later, we use fresh milk to make homemade village cheese. Everything is prepared naturally using traditional methods that have been part of rural life in Iran for generations. In the afternoon, my mother prepares the dough and bakes fresh bread in our traditional clay tandoor oven. The smell of warm bread baking in the wood‑fired tandoor is one of the most comforting parts of village life. Finally, we enjoy the freshly baked tandoor bread together with our homemade cheese — a simple but delicious meal from the heart of rural Northern Iran.
