Our idea was to take a leisurely drive through the southern zone of São Paulo, but everything changed when we encountered traffic that was completely out of the ordinary for that time of day. We left Vila Mascote via Avenida Santa Catarina towards Marginal Pinheiros, passing Congonhas Airport. During the journey, we even tried to photograph an aircraft landing or taking off, but the traffic ended up holding other surprises for us. Further on, we looked for an electric car charging station on Avenida dos Bandeirantes, but it simply wasn't where we expected. That's when we encountered a huge traffic jam. With no apparent incident, we continued to follow the traffic to find out what was really causing the slowdown. The answer only appeared a few kilometers later. Was there an accident? Roadwork? Or just the large volume of vehicles?
