Elias Sime Crafts a New Narrative with Reclaimed Technology at SLAM
Currents 118 at the Saint Louis Art Museum brings the work of Ethiopian artist Elias Sime to Saint Louis. Using salvaged materials, Sime’s creates large-scale modular works and sculptures that explore themes such as environmentalism, global communication, abstract art, and architecture. Curator, Hannah Klemm, discusses the show and Sime's visit to the area which inspired two new sculptures. The exhibition will be available through January 31, 2021.
