Big Brake Upgrade for Your Silverado or Sierra NBS Truck Using 2019 Caliper & Rotors

Did you know that the four piston caliper front brake setup on the new GM trucks can be retrofitted to the 99-06 Silverados and Sierras? It is a very inexpensive upgrade and we will show you how it can be done. First things first, it will only work on the 1500 series (half tons) from 1999-2006, including the 2007 classic bodies. Also you will need to be running a 17 inch or larger wheel to be able to clear the larger rotor and caliper. The new parts will be coming from a 2019 and up new body style 1500 Chevrolet or GMC. Here is the setup that was used. GM Calipers: 13536579 LH 13536580 RH Raybestos R-Line Ceramic Pads: MGD2173CH Raybestos R-Line Rotors: 582458R The caliper mount bolts and brake hose seals were also replaced with original OEM parts.
