Climbing Seven Falls and barely made it!

Broadmore Seven Falls: Affectionately known as “the grandest mile of scenery”, the approach to Seven Falls is surrounded by Colorado mountain beauty, making you feel like you’ve stumbled upon a very special secret. The natural box canyon that creates the crashing falls is flanked by the Pillars of Hercules, which rise nearly 900 feet (275 m) above the ground, welcoming you to adventure. A fast and frequent shuttle service makes getting to Seven Falls simple. You will not need to spend time in traffic waiting for your turn. You will not need to worry about parking. Park in the spacious lot at Norris Penrose Equestrian Center and ride the free shuttle to the gate. Seven Falls is a dog-friendly attraction, and that includes rides on the shuttle. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are always welcome. What to Do During Your Seven Falls Visit? Thrill seekers who visit Seven Falls won’t just find visual excitement. There is much more fun to be had! For hikers, two unique trails offer you different views of the falls, with both long (1 hour) and short (30 minutes) options. If you don’t want to stray too far from the falls, you can explore the 224-step stairway along the falls. Shoppers will find souvenirs, snacks and other fine items to commemorate the trip at the Seven Falls Gift Shop. Or, if you’re a collector of rocks and minerals, you can find sparkly treasures in Rockhounds at the Eagles Nest. The shop has two gemologists who offer minerals and fossils collected from all over the world. The Eagle’s Nest is another amazing spot to capture great photos of the falls and the surrounding terrain. Any photos from this vantage point are sure to make you happy. Take a moment to catch your breath on the patio of Restaurant 1858. The award-winning chefs of the Broadmoor oversee this popular dining spot. Enjoy Colorado cuisine like wood-grilled steak and trout, plus frequent chef specials and signature desserts.
