Vinny went on to win the match by 2 points from an Omoplata sweep to become the 2011 +99kg ADCC Champion. Werdum is a legend of combat sports and hold victories over some of the best fighters in the world in both Jiujitsu and MMA. In Jiujitsu Werdum has beaten Cyborg Abreu, Jeff Monson, Fernando Terere, Saulo Ribeiro and Alexander Trans. In MMA Werdum became the UFC Heavyweight Champion by defeating Cain Velasquez by Guillotine Choke. He also holds victories over Fedor Emelianenko, Gabriel Gonzaga, Travis Browne, Brandon Vera, Mark Hunt, Bigfoot Silva and Alistair Overeem. Vinny Magalhaes is also a legend in Jiujitsu and holds victories over the biggest names such as Gordon Ryan, Garry Tonon, Cyborg Abreu, Marcus Buchecha, Joao Gabriel Rocha, Robert Drysdale, Rodrigo Cavaca, Chris Weidman, Dean Lister, Gunnar Nelson, Bruno Bastos, Glover Teixeira and Jackson Souza. Vinny also has a very impressive MMA career and has fought in the UFC Light Heavyweight division and is currently a top contender in PFL.
