We are cooking, again so another vlog filled with good, good food, plus it's also father's day so we cooked up a special meal for those people. #Hutterite #cooking Rhubarb Muffins: 4:24 3/4 cups brown sugar 1 1/4 cups butter 4 cups rhubarb 2 1/2 eggs 5 cups flour 2 1/2 tsp baking soda 2 1/2 tsp vanilla 2 1/2 cups sour cream Topping: 1/2 cups brown sugar 3/4 cups walnuts 1 tsp cinnamon Directions: Combine all ingredients. Fill muffin tins. Sprinkle with topping and bake 25 mins at 350. Notes: June 2024- the recipe for some reason didn’t come with a salt amount so I compared it with different muffin recipe that was the same size and it worked well. Quinoa soup: 6:20 Ingredients: 4 Cups Quinoa 3 Cups Celery (diced) 3 Cups Onions (diced) 3 Cups Carrots (diced) 3 Cups Peas (optional) 2 tbsp. Paprika Instructions: Stir fry celery, onions, and carrots. Combine Quinoa, Paprika in 16 quartz chicken soup. Boil for ½ hour. Or until Quinoa is soft. Add stir fried vegetables, and salt and pepper to taste, just before serving. notes from our head cook: wash quinoa 3 times and only add as much soup broth as you need. Carrot ginger soup: 6:40 our head cook doesn't have a recipe, she just makes the entire soup from her head, Pinterest is full of recipes if you want one.
