A jeep ascent along serpentine roads, a hiking trail to Buddha's footprint and the Alley of Wishes, and a good luck ritual with a monk – our annual pilgrimage is unmissable. After the descent, an old but incredibly atmospheric jungle hotel with a huge pool and mountain views awaited us. The perfect balance of spirituality and relaxation.
