How to make Solar bottle bulbs project | DIY Liter of Light | Science Project

Solar bottle bulbs, also known as solar water bottles, are placed on the roof of a house to illuminate a room by reflecting sunlight. The innovation of this project is to create high-quality natural light using cheap, durable and readily available materials, providing the urban poor with an affordable, environmentally friendly long-term alternative to electric lighting for daytime use. A bottle is filled with water and a small amount of bleach. Adding bleach to the water prevents it from turning green by algae and ensures high-quality light that keeps the water clean for a long time. A small part of the bottle is left outside and the rest is allowed to enter the room.
