Ineos Grenadier 2025 Trialmaster

Some vehicles are built to impress. Others are built to endure. My 2025 Ineos Grenadier Trialmaster, finished in Sela Green, belongs firmly in the second category. It isn't trying to be the most luxurious SUV on the road or the fastest. Instead, it's an unapologetically purpose-built machine, designed for people who appreciate capability, durability, and honest engineering. Every time I climb behind the wheel, I'm reminded that it was created to solve problems rather than simply follow trends. What I appreciate most is how thoughtfully Ineos borrowed the best ideas from legendary off-road vehicles without merely copying them. You can see the influence of classics like the Land Rover Defender and the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, yet the Grenadier has developed a personality all its own. The BMW inline-six engine, solid axles, functional interior, and abundance of physical switches all contribute to an experience that feels refreshingly mechanical in an increasingly digital world. It even has a few endearing quirks and imperfections, but somehow they make it more authentic rather than less.
